Training Programs
PARAFLY Paragliding offers complete training in Seattle and the Eastside to help you enjoy paragliding safely at any level. You can start with a tandem flight and progress on to advanced ratings. In order to acquire the skills and knowledge required to achieve your novice (P2) paraglider rating you will receive training in a number of ways:
Fee The cost of the P2 program is $1,500 and it includes the use of training gear for ground handling and flying although students are encouraged to purchase their own gear early in the program. Any initial tandem fees will be deducted from the total program cost.
Timing The time required to complete a P2 certification varies greatly depending on the individual, their schedule and the available flying conditions. It can be as short as a week or as long as several months. Safety is more important than a quick rating.
